The Norwalk Housing Authority helps families live where they work, providing quality affordable housing. We also offer appropriate and affordable residences for low-income seniors and people with disabilities.

But we’re more than just housing. We offer a variety of support services to our residents from free after-school programs and college scholarship as well as financial, job-readiness and other self-sufficiency workshops.

The Norwalk Housing Authority provides affordable housing both in our residences and through Section 8, providing rent subsidies in the form of housing assistance payments in rental apartments. In addition NHA owns and manages 18 properties throughout Norwalk helping over 2,000 families citywide.
