100% of the funding for the College Scholarship Program is awarded to deserving students. Most attend 4-year colleges, and keep going - entering the workforce with more skills, greater earning potential, and a vastly improved outlook for financial self-sufficiency despite the challenges that once seemed overwhelming.
 
Our supporters believe in the power of education to change lives and futures in significant ways.  We owe everything to the individuals, corporations, and foundations that support our efforts. 100% of scholarship program contributions go directly to fund scholarships.

Scholarship Committee

The NHF has a Scholarship Committee of dedicated community leaders who raise funds and adjudicate awards. Members of the Scholarship Committee serve as mentors for scholarship recipients to help them achieve their educational goals. The additional care the scholarship recipients receive creates a bond between the students and the NHF, a connection we hope will carry them through the completion of their degree and beyond.
