Washington Village residents, government officials and the many organizations working together on the Norwalk Choice Neighborhoods Initiative gathered for the "Ground Breaking Ceremony: Phase One" of Washington Village's redevelopment on Nov. 28, 2016. This has been a very anticipated project that will change not only the lives of Washington Village residents, but also of Norwalk residents. Race for Chase: First-ever triathlon: in remembrance of Chase Kowalski

Race for Chase is done in remembrance of Chase Kowalski, a young athlete who was among the children that died in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in December of 2012.
